About The Role

As a Senior Data Engineer at Brandlight, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, building, and scaling the data infrastructure that powers AI-driven brand perception insights. You’ll collaborate closely with platform and AI research teams to ensure robust, performant, and reliable pipelines and systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain large-scale, end-to-end data pipelines (ingestion, transformation, storage, serving) to support Brandlight’s platform and research teams.
• Design data models and schemas optimized for both analytical workloads and ML training / inference pipelines.
• Design and build the full data life cycle from ingestion to serving, with robust monitoring, lineage tracking, validation, and alerting systems to ensure data quality and reliability.
• Optimize queries, storage formats, partitioning, and indexing for performance and cost efficiency.
• Manage and scale BigQuery for high-throughput analytics workloads, and orchestrate data workflows with tools like Airflow.
  
  

• B.Sc degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
• 6+ years of hands-on industry experience as data or backend engineer
• Excellent SW engineering skills, proficient python developer
• Excellent SQL skills, including query optimization
• Experience with big data frameworks
• Experience with BigQuery & Airflow a big advantage
• Experience working with LLMs, Vector DBs and ML knowledge a big advantage
• Ability and desire to work in a fast paced, demanding and sometimes ambiguous environment.
