Senior Data Analyst

Obligo is a Fintech / Real Estate-Tech startup looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Data team. You'll own the analytics for our renter-facing (B2C) business vertical end-to-end, partnering closely with Product and stakeholders to drive data-informed decisions, run experiments, and continuously improve our data infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities

Vertical Ownership & Stakeholder Partnership

• Fully own analytics for the renter flow (B2C) vertical with minimal supervision—be the go-to expert for metrics, insights, and recommendations
• Partner directly with Product to understand business needs and translate them into actionable analysis
• Collaborate with our Data Scientist on the analytics side of pricing and risk models—track performance, evaluate outcomes, and surface insights
• Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  
  

Data Infrastructure & Experimentation

• Maintain and improve the data warehouse for your vertical using our custom transformation tool (similar to dbt); ensure data quality and documentation
• Design, run, and analyze product experiments with the Product team—define success metrics, validate statistical significance, and synthesize results into recommendations
  
  

Requirements

Must-Have

• 5+ years of experience in product analytics, BI, or a similar data-focused role
• Expert-level SQL skills—you write complex queries confidently and optimize for performance
• Experience with experimentation (A/B testing) methodology and statistical analysis
• Strong communication skills—ability to explain complex analyses to non-technical stakeholders
• Self-sufficient, proactive, and comfortable working with minimal supervision
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  
  

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Python for data analysis (pandas, numpy, etc.)
• Background in Fintech, PropTech, or marketplace/B2C products
• Experience with our stack: Databricks SQL, Sigma BI, and data transformation tools (dbt or similar)
