Job description:

The Frontend Team at Exodigo is at the core of our proprietary technology, building high-performance web applications that transform complex underground data into clear, interactive, real-time experiences.

We tackle frontend challenges at the edge of what browsers can do - from rendering massive, multi-layered geospatial maps to building GPU-accelerated data visualizations and 3D interfaces using WebGL and modern 3D rendering libraries. Our work pushes browser performance limits to deliver smooth, responsive experiences on top of extremely large and complex datasets.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex single-page web applications using React, and TypeScript styling it all using Tailwind.
• Build responsive, performant, and reusable UI components.
• Implement high-performance visualizations, including mapping, geospatial, and real-time data displays.
• Work with 3D rendering and geospatial data processing in the browser.
• Collaborate closely with backend and engineering teams to integrate APIs and data services.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility
• Ensure frontend systems are production-ready, resilient at scale, while being ready to give production support and reliability efforts.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and engineering best practices
• Mentor engineers and support cross-team technical alignment.
  
  

• Software Development - Collaborate with software developers on Exodigo’s proprietary technology
• Product & UX - Partner with product managers and designers to translate complex workflows into intuitive user experiences
  
  

• 6+ years of professional experience building modern, production-grade web applications
• Strong, hands-on experience with React in complex, real-world applications
• High proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture, component design, and state management patterns
• Proven experience building data-intensive, real-time, or visualization-heavy user interfaces
• Ability to design performant, scalable frontend solutions and reason about browser-level performance
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with evolving requirements and high ownership
  
  

• Experience with geospatial visualization libraries such as Mapbox GL, Deck.gl, or similar – Strong advantage
• Experience working with CAD or Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
• Experience with 3D visualization technologies (Three.js, WebGL)
• Experience working with GraphQL
• Familiarity with Python-based backend services
• Knowledge of CI/CD workflows and AWS services
