Job Overview

Vintage Investment Partners is looking for a highly motivated, experienced VP Finance to join our team. You'll have a direct impact on the financial operations of our funds and play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and scaling our financial infrastructure to support the firm's growth. This role reports directly to the CFO. The ideal candidate combines deep fund finance expertise with a detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset and strong cross-functional communication skills. You’ll have a key role in a leading investment firm in a highly professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the funds’ financial and tax reporting
• Lead the accounting team on the highest professional standards, processes, and technology
• Manage cash flow across the funds
• Ensure accurate accounting and timely reporting
• Manage investor communications, capital calls, and distributions
• Work closely with banks to manage bank accounts, deposits, and facilities
• Drive continuous improvement and automation across financial processes and systems
• Support strategic projects and ad-hoc requests

Requirements

• Native or fluent English, both written and spoken
• CPA or equivalent with relevant academic degrees
• 10+ years in senior finance roles, including team leadership
• Prior experience in VC or PE – an advantage
• Technology-savvy with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Adept at collaborating across departments to drive business objectives
• Highly analytical with a strong problem-solving approach
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail. Own every data point
• Well organised and able to multi-task with fluctuating priorities and deadlines
