About the Role

As a Senior QA Engineer in our growing Automation & QA team, you will lead the testing and reporting of features and domains of the E-series - Xsight Labs product.

You will have end-to-end ownership of complex feature areas, including deep understanding of product functionality and underlying technical components

You will develop and maintain feature test plans, oversee test execution, lead debugging activities, and collaborate closely with FW/SW teams to ensure high quality delivery. Provides guidance and mentorship to QA engineers, promoting best practices and knowledge growth across the team. This is a rare opportunity to work alongside industry experts and master all aspects of embedded software and firmware testing. You'll contribute to large-scale network operating system deployments, and your work will directly impact products that power the world's largest cloud infrastructures.

Position Scope

• Interact with development and product teams to fully understand the product behavior and specifications.
• Owns features testing end to end
• Help shape and define the organization processes and tools
• Define, implement & execute test
• Deep debugging with FW/SW
• Lead defect triage & Root cause analysis
• Drive regression stability & automation coverage
• Understand feature status, risk areas and create clear reports
• Participate in design and code reviews, contributing to best practices for testability and quality.

Required Experience

• 7+ years of QA or SW development position
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Proven experience with networking & embedded systems
• Good familiarity with Linux, Python, Automation tools
• Previous work with Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence) – Advantage
• Previous work with git, Jenkins, dockers, containers – Advantage

Education

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
