Data Engineer

🚀 We’re Hiring: Data Presales Engineer | Ra’anana (Hybrid)

A leading data solutions company is looking for a talented Data Presales Engineer to lead the technological aspects of complex data solution sales processes.

This is a strategic, client-facing role at the intersection of technology and business — working closely with Account Managers and internal stakeholders to drive Data Integration, Data Quality, Data Governance, and API Integration solutions.

• Identify business needs and translate them into tailored data & analytics solutions (e.g., Talend, Qlik Sense)

• Lead Proof of Concept (POC) processes and demonstrate business value

• Support the full sales cycle from a technical perspective

• Deliver ongoing technical enablement and training to sales teams

• Stay up to date with product innovations and industry trends

• 2+ years of experience in Data Presales OR Data Engineering (with interest in moving to Presales) – mandatory

• Relevant academic degree or professional training – mandatory

• Strong SQL skills and at least one programming language (Java / Scala / Python) – advantage

• Experience with ETL & Data Pipelines – advantage

• Experience with Talend, Kafka, Spark – advantage

• Cloud experience (GCP / AWS / Azure) – advantage

• Strong business mindset and understanding of the Israeli market

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Very high-level English
