Assistant Controller

A global Learning and EdTech startup based in Tel Aviv is looking for an Assistant Controller.

The company is in a significant growth phase with an AI-driven product and a leading presence in the US market.

The Role: A key position reporting to the Controller, focusing on the company’s US operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Finance and Accounting activities for US entities, including building processes and controls.
• Manage revenue recognition and financial closing processes in accordance with US GAAP.
• Oversee accounts receivable, collections, and regulatory compliance for US entities.
• Serve as a primary finance partner to US-based teams and external accountants.

Requirements:

• CPA (Israeli or US) – Mandatory.
• Experience in auditing US companies – Mandatory.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and revenue recognition.
• Native-level English and full professional fluency in Hebrew – Mandatory.
• Advanced Excel skills. Experience with NetSuite or QuickBooks – Advantage.
• Ability to work independently and align hours with US time zones.
