Vishay Dimona is currently seeking applicants for a Cost accountant.

This role involves preparing cost reports, analyzing production and financial data, performing inventory valuation, and supporting month‑end close activities such as journal entry review, inventory reconciliation, and variance analysis. You will work closely with production and finance teams and coordinate with other manufacturing sites. The role also assists with internal and external audits.

Job Location:

Dimona is located in Southern Israel in the Negev, not far from the Dead Sea area, the lowest point on earth.

The factory in Dimona was established in 1986 and has over 1,000 employees.

What You Will Be Doing

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports.
• Conduct month‑end close activities and review inventory‑related accounts.
• Perform inventory valuation, maintain valuation system data, and coordinate physical counts.
• Prepare cost reports for production, procurement, and planning teams collaborating closely with these functions.
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience working in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems with the ability to manipulate large sets of data
• Analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
