A highly profitable and well-established Online Gaming & Entertainment company that develops advanced, regulated platforms and applications for a global user base.
With hundreds of employees and a strong market presence, the company specializes in high-performance, high-availability systems within the gaming and gambling industry.
The company is located in Central Tel Aviv (with excellent access to the Light Rail) and operates a hybrid work model (one day per week from home).
Role Overview:
- Leading a team of approximately 5 developers, reporting directly to the Domain Head.
- Managing technical execution and people development in parallel with an additional Team Lead.
- Driving the development of mission-critical features using Java and Spring.
- Overseeing the full software development lifecycle within a high-scale, high-traffic production environment.
- Balancing technical guidance with managerial responsibilities to ensure the delivery of robust and scalable software.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional experience in Team Leadership – Mandatory.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java development – Mandatory.
- Deep hands-on expertise with the Spring Framework – Mandatory.
- Significant experience in building scalable, high-concurrency backend systems.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to mentor developers and drive team performance.
- Experience in the gaming, fintech, or high-transaction sectors – A significant advantage.
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related technical field.
