Software Engineer

A leading company in the Renewable Energy sector that designs, builds, and operates advanced solar power plants. The firm integrates breakthrough solar technologies with sophisticated storage and optimization capabilities to manage large-scale energy resources.

Located in the Jerusalem area, the company offers a hybrid work model (two days per week from home) within a stable and mission-driven environment.

Role Overview:

• Developing high-performance backend services using C# .NET to control and monitor renewable energy assets.
• Designing and implementing software layers that interface with industrial communication protocols for real-time hardware synchronization.
• Scaling cloud-based infrastructure to handle massive data inflows from global solar sites.
• Optimizing energy management algorithms and integration with storage systems.
• Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams (Hardware, Data Science, and Operations) to deliver end-to-end energy solutions.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field – Mandatory.
• 3+ years of professional experience in C# .NET development – Mandatory.
• Proven experience working with Communication Protocols (e.g., Modbus, MQTT, TCP/IP, or similar industrial standards) – Mandatory.
• Significant experience with Cloud computing environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) – Mandatory.
• Strong architectural understanding of distributed systems and backend infrastructure.
• Passion for the Renewable Energy industry and green-tech innovation.
