A Global Industry Leader is Hiring an Embedded Software Engineer

📍 Kfar Blum / Hatzor / Ashdod

🕒 Full-time | Hybrid

About the role:

  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for agricultural and irrigation control systems.
  • Develop real-time (RT) software for communication and operation of I/O components.
  • Collaborate closely with control systems and automation engineers to integrate software and hardware.
  • Participate in software testing, debugging, and optimization to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with coding standards.

Requirements:

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science / Software Engineering or a related field – mandatory
  • At least 3 years of experience in software development and specification writing in C++ – mandatory
  • Experience in control systems development, preferably in agriculture or irrigation – mandatory
  • Experience working in Linux environments – mandatory
  • Experience with real-time (RT) hardware/software interfaces at board and chip level – mandatory
  • High-level professional English – mandatory
  • Experience with algorithms and system architecture – advantage
  • Knowledge of communication protocols TCP/UDP/IP – advantage
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) – advantage
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
