Backend Team Leader

A globally recognized Israeli technology leader and a pioneer in the DevSecOps and MLOps sectors. The company provides a comprehensive, unified platform used by thousands of global enterprises.

Operating at the forefront of the industry, the firm maintains an elite R&D center focused on high-scale infrastructure and cutting-edge automation.

The role requires a presence in the Central Israel region three days a week (with specific site-flexibility across the company's campuses), operating under a hybrid work model.

Role Overview:

• Leading a specialized engineering team within the Innovation Group (CTO Office), focused on a high-impact, AI-integrated product recently built from the ground up.
• Managing a multidisciplinary team of 5 engineers (Backend, Frontend, and DevOps) with significant growth potential.
• Balancing leadership with technical execution (30–50% Hands-On), reporting directly to the Group Leader.
• Driving high-velocity development in an "AI-first" environment, steering the product toward the latest market trends in autonomous engineering.
• Working with a modern, high-scale stack including Go, React, Redis, AWS, and Kubernetes.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience in Technical Management / Team Leadership – Mandatory.
• Strong background in backend development with proficiency in Go, Node.js, or Python – Mandatory.
• Deep experience in designing and scaling Microservices architectures – Mandatory.
• Proven expertise in Cloud Infrastructure (AWS) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) – Mandatory.
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, high-innovation environment with a high degree of technical ownership.
• Experience with ReactJS or a strong full-stack orientation – A significant advantage.
• Passion for AI/ML and its practical application within developer tools and infrastructure.
