Technology Manager

Sheba Medical Center, ranked among the world’s leading hospitals, is seeking a Technology Manager to join Sheba Beyond, Israel’s pioneering virtual hospital initiative.

This role is responsible for leading technological and digital advancement across the virtual hospital ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration between Sheba’s enterprise IT infrastructure and innovative digital health solutions.

The Technology Manager will lead the planning, implementation, and delivery of digital initiatives, working closely with internal IT teams and external partners to drive operational excellence, clinical innovation, and continuous digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of innovative digital and technological solutions within the virtual hospital
• Collaborate closely with hospital IT units, including Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Clinical Systems, Operational Systems, BI, and Digital teams
• Manage external vendors and oversee integration of dedicated healthcare applications
• Gather and translate clinical and operational needs into scalable technological solutions
• Own end-to-end delivery of technology projects — ensuring timelines, quality, and budget adherence
• Evaluate emerging technologies and implement solutions aligned with evolving organizational needs
• Drive cross-organizational initiatives to enhance patient experience and staff workflows
• Directly manage a multidisciplinary team including Technology Project Managers, Customer Success, and Support representatives
• Work in close collaboration with all Sheba Beyond teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering & Management, Information Systems, or a related field — required
• 3+ years of experience in Information Systems management, technology project management, or a similar role within healthcare or a complex organization — required
• Experience working with multiple IT interfaces and managing cross-functional stakeholders
• Proven experience managing external vendors and technology integrations
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects from requirements definition through implementation and maintenance
• Strong communication skills, systems thinking, and strategic mindset
