Product Leader (Mechanical Engineer)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering support for existing products (CPE) and manage products throughout their lifecycle, collaborating with Purchasing, Production, Quality, Logistics, subcontractors, and customers in Israel and globally
• Troubleshoot ongoing issues and lead immediate solutions during production-stopping engineering crises
• Define and optimize manufacturing processes, manage engineering documentation, ECOs, and configuration control
• Lead NPI processes (transfer from R&D to production) and support ongoing production, including documentation and system updates
• Execute development and engineering builds, including pilot production runs.
• Lead and manage manufacturing-focused engineering projects such as Failure Analysis, Cost Reduction, and Yield Improvement
• Plan and execute experiments as part of root cause investigations and validation of engineering changes

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, with experience in the medical device industry
• 4+ years of experience in NPI and supporting existing products within an engineering department
• Strong experience in engineering documentation, ECO management, and configuration control
• Proficiency in mechanical CAD systems (SolidWorks preferred), configuration management systems, and ERP/logistics systems – significant advantage
• Experience in fixture and assembly design – advantage
• High level of English and Hebrew
