Head of Data

NESS is looking for an experienced Data Project Manager to lead the establishment and delivery of a large-scale Data Lakehouse platform on GCP.

In this role, you will hold end-to-end responsibility for the project’s delivery, including planning, executing, and monitoring multi-year work plans. You will manage budgets, ensure high-quality standards (SLA), drive process improvements, and lead multidisciplinary teams to success.

Location: Ra'anana (Hybrid). Full-time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree – Mandatory.
• 5+ years of experience in Data and IT Project Management – Mandatory.
• Proven experience managing high-budget projects with multiple stakeholders – Mandatory.
• Extensive experience in ongoing service delivery (not just initial setup/implementation) – Mandatory.
• Proven experience working with Government or Public Sector clients – Mandatory.
• Deep understanding of Data, DWH, Lakehouse, and BI ecosystems – Mandatory.
• Experience managing data projects in a Public Cloud environment (GCP preferred) – Mandatory.
• Practical experience in budget management, pricing, and profitability analysis – Mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with work plans, Gantt charts, and executive reporting – Mandatory.
