Based in Haifa, Israel, Kokomodo ltd., is working on plant cell culture, for industrial use. We aim to create a better world through developing more sustainable and healthier cacao, crafted according to the needs.

Job Description- Lab technician

Responsibilities:

·      Support the work in the lab (media preparation, sample preparation, cell line maintenance, etc.)

·      Assist in executing scientific experiments

·      Support other work across the company

·      Work according to the company’s SOPs and policies

·      Communicate efficiently challenges, progress and observations

·      Being proactive and initiative to support the company’s goals

·      Train colleagues

Requirements:

·      BSc or equivalent (or towards completion) in life science, food sciences, or any other related discipline

·      Competent in understanding and following protocols and procedures

·      Capable of working independently

·      Ability to easily adopt changes

·      Excellent organization skills

·      Experience in aseptic work, preferably with plant cell cultures- advantage

·      Strong communication skills, scientifically and generally

·      Self-learner, self-motivated and passionate about the field

·      Resourceful, resilient, and agile scientist with a “can-do” attitude

·      High-performing team player
