Software Team Leader

We’re looking for an experienced Team Leader to join our growing R&D.

We use Java to develop our backend and use the latest AWS services for development and production environments.

You will:

• Hire and manage a development full stack agile engineering team
• Lead the adoption of AI-assisted development tools and practices
• Develop the tools and infrastructure for our data processes
• Work closely with Papaya's product team to understand and define requirements
• Manage your team tasks and ensure quality and timely execution using agile methodologies
  
  

• 5+ years as a team leader
• 10+ years of experience in server-side development (Java)
• Experience in AI-assisted development
• Experience in devops (or at the very least, full service ownership - creating and deploying services in a microservice environment)
• Experience in development in micro-service-oriented architecture
• Experience in agile development, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and coding for automated testing
• Experience in core database systems (SQL, NoSQL, Redis, etc.)
• Get-things-done mentality

• Experience in integrations with 3rd party provides and APIs
• Experience in integrating AI-driven flows in software
• Experience in deploying and maintaining in an AWS environment
• A passion for improving software quality through self-learning
• Experience in developing financial applications
• Experience in Node JS
• Experience in React.JS
