System Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Development of UAV systems (small tactical UAVs, loitering munitions, and drones), combining advanced software and hardware, from solution definition and specifications through design, integration, testing, and delivery to the customer
• Leading complex system integrations involving software and hardware products, payloads, and independent technical leadership of internal disciplines and subcontractors
• Integration and development of capabilities within C2 (Command & Control) systems
• Definition of requirements for system components, including writing system specifications and design documents
• Hands-on end-to-end integration of electronic systems in UAVs
• Leading development and integration efforts with multiple engineering teams, including airborne software, C2 software, simulators, software testing, electronics, and more

Requirements:

• Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
• M.Sc. in Systems Engineering – an advantage
• Proven experience of at least 4 years as a Systems Engineer in complex, multidisciplinary software- and hardware-intensive systems
• Proven experience of at least 3 years in engineering development (electrical design / software development / flight control)
• Familiarity with missiles, UAVs, aviation, C2 systems, autonomous vehicles, or robotics – a significant advantage
• Hands-on experience working with and operating drones – an advantage
• Experience in loitering munitions, weapon systems, missiles, or warheads – an advantage
• Experience with communication protocols (RS232, RS422, CAN-BUS, TCP/IP) – an advantage
• Proven experience in scripting using MATLAB and/or Python – an advantage
• Background in UAV units or organizations (operations / technical / engineering) from the Israeli Air Force, Navy, or special units – an advantage
• Strong interpersonal skills, leadership and process management capabilities, ability to work both independently and as part of a team, proactive mindset, and high self-learning ability
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
