Senior Back End Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Backend Developer with 5-7 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python and Node.js development, along with expertise in working with Azure cloud services. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining backend systems that power our applications and services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems using Python and Node.js.

2. Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, and product managers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

3. Implement backend APIs and services to support various client applications.

4. Optimize application performance and reliability by identifying and resolving bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

5. Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.

6. Utilize Azure cloud services to deploy, monitor, and manage backend infrastructure.

7. Implement security best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data.

8. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

9. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in backend development, cloud computing, and DevOps practices.

10. Troubleshoot and debug production issues in a timely manner.

Must-Have Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

2. 5-7 years of professional experience in backend development.

3. At least 3 years of proven experience in Python and Node.js programming languages.

4. Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.

5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

6. Effective communication and collaboration skills.

7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

8. Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Solid understanding of backend frameworks such as Flask, Django, Express.js, etc.

2. Experience working with Azure cloud services (Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, etc.).

3. Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.

4. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
