Senior Elasticsearch Expert | High-Scale Production Systems

A leading technology company  (IDF Outsourcing Partner( is looking for a Senior Elasticsearch Expert with deep hands-on experience to work on complex, high-scale production systems.

If you live and breathe Search, understand clusters inside-out, and enjoy solving real performance challenges — this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect large-scale Elasticsearch-based solutions
• Lead performance tuning, bottleneck analysis, and system optimization
• Manage and optimize complex production clusters
• Define advanced data modeling, indexing strategies, and query optimization
• Troubleshoot deep, complex production issues
• Collaborate closely with Backend, DevOps, and Data teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Elasticsearch
• Strong understanding of cluster architecture, sharding, replication, and scaling
• Proven experience working with high-traffic production environments
• Experience with performance optimization and load analysis
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools

Nice to Have

• Experience with OpenSearch
• Cloud environments (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Experience with Kafka or streaming pipelines
• Coding experience (Java / Python / Node.js) in search or data-driven systems

דרישות חובה

• לפחות 5 שנות ניסיון hands-on עם Elasticsearch
• הבנה עמוקה בארכיטקטורת Cluster, Sharding, Replication וScaling
• ניסיון מוכח בעבודה בסביבות Production עתירות משתמשים
• ניסיון באופטימיזציית ביצועים וניתוח עומסים
• ניסיון ב Monitoring, Logging  וObservability
