As a Senior Frontend Engineer and a Next.js Authority you will spearhead the evolution of our web platforms.

This isn't just a role for a developer who uses the framework; we need someone who understands its internals - the nuances of the App Router, hydration strategies, and advanced caching.

Coming from a high-scale e-commerce background, you understand that every millisecond and SEO optimization counts.

You will serve as the technical anchor, leading the migration of legacy React systems into a high-performance Next.js architecture while maintaining a gold standard for code quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of our high-traffic web applications, ensuring they are optimized for both performance and developer velocity.
• Own the migration and maintenance of React applications to Next.js, making critical decisions on rendering patterns (SSR, ISR, SSG).
• Set and enforce high-reaching code standards and architectural patterns that remain scalable as the team grows.
• Act as the "go-to" expert for the frontend team, providing deep-dive guidance, performing rigorous code reviews, and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• From initial design and RFCs to shipping and post-deployment measurement, you own the impact of your code.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional frontend experience with a proven mastery of Next.js and its latest features (App Router, Middleware, RSC).
• Direct experience in a high-scale e-commerce or B2B2C environment - a major advantage.
• Deep understanding of Web Vitals, image optimization, and bundle size management.
• Expert in TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and sophisticated state management (Zustand, TanStack Query, etc.).
• Proven ability to design complex frontend systems that are accessible, responsive, and easy to maintain.
• Experience mentoring developers and a passion for sharing knowledge on "small nuances" and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance technical perfection with business goals.
