Product Specialist

Astellas IL is looking to hire a Product Specialist for the Women Health team, to support innovative solutions. Territory – Jerusalem and Shfela.

Position purpose

The Product Specialist is responsible for an assigned territory, meeting with practicing physicians in hospitals and in the community, as well as with other health-related organizations/personnel. The Product Specialist is assigned a product or a portfolio of products, on which they maintain the most current information, providing education and information to customers on the product(s) and their approved indications, in a manner which ensures the appropriate use of these products and achieve the business potential of the territory.

Responsibilities include:

• Territory Management – setting priorities to ensure optimal coverage and use of time.
• Meeting Sales Objectives.
• Customer Engagement informed by customer needs to bring value to patients and HCPs.
• Maintain most up to date product(s) knowledge.
• Duly reporting and analysis in company systems to maximize insights from data.

To be successful in this job, you need:

• A Science degree
• Minimum 2 years of experience as Medical Representative
• Demonstrated use of science/medicine knowledge
• Experience from a global environment – an advantage
• Experience at relationship management, with KOLs and other stakeholders
• Presentation skills
• Knowledge of local & int. pharma Code of Practice
• Computer literacy including the use of OFFICE
• Well-developed influencing skills –both internally and externally
• Strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), influencing / persuasiveness skills
• Good proficiency of professional English (written and verbal)
• Excellent command of Hebrew (written and verbal)
• Driver’s license
