Senior JavaScript Developer (MarTech)

This role is an exciting opportunity to build and maintain high-performance marketing technology platforms in a fast-paced, international environment. As a Senior JavaScript Developer, you will primarily focus on backend development while contributing to full-stack projects that power landing pages, experimentation platforms, and analytics tools. You will work with modern technologies such as Node.js , TypeScript, MongoDB, Kafka, and ClickHouse, designing REST-like APIs and ensuring system reliability and scalability. The position offers collaboration with distributed teams, ownership over CI/CD pipelines, and involvement in performance optimization and testing strategies. Your contributions will directly impact marketing automation capabilities and the performance of high-traffic digital products.

Accountabilities

• Lead backend and full-stack development efforts for marketing technology platforms, including REST-like APIs and experimentation tools.
• Maintain and optimize high-performance landing pages platforms with features like A/B testing and multi-armed bandits.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions.
• Build and support systems using Node.js , TypeScript, MongoDB, Kafka, ClickHouse, and Cloudflare Workers.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure robust and reliable software delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, maintainable, and high-load applications.
• Ensure backend performance, stability, and adherence to modern web architecture best practices.
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in JavaScript/TypeScript development with a strong backend focus.
• Deep understanding of modern web application architecture and REST-like APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js , TypeScript, and backend frameworks for high-throughput applications.
• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration for development and deployment.
• Knowledge of frontend basics: HTML, CSS, layout, and vanilla JavaScript.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and maintaining pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Experience working with NoSQL databases and query optimization principles.
• Ability to develop, maintain, and optimize high-load systems with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with international, distributed teams.
