Junior Data Scientist (Computer Vision & Signal Processing)

Location: Barkai, Israel

We are looking for a hands-on Data Scientist to join our R&D team and work on data generated from real, physical systems. This role focuses on computer vision, signal processing, and machine learning.

You will work closely with hardware, software, and product teams to design, validate, and deploy data-driven models used in real-world systems.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain data analysis and modeling pipelines in Python
• Work on computer vision tasks
• Implement signal-processing algorithms for sensor and measurement data
• Design, train, and evaluate machine learning and deep learning models
• Analyze data collected from hardware-based systems and experiments
• Collaborate with hardware and system engineers to understand data generation and system constraints
• Support model testing and calibration workflows

Must-have requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role
• Strong Python proficiency
• Experience with computer vision
• Experience with signal processing
• Practical experience with machine learning and deep learning

Nice to have

• Experience with spectral signal processing
• Experience working with data originating from hardware or sensors
• Familiarity with calibration processes or experimental data
• Experience with applied ML in production or research environments
