A leading defense company is seeking an Optical Designer!
📍 Rehovot
Responsibilities:
• Computer‑based optical design for imaging systems, lasers, and advanced optical solutions
• Performing stray‑light analyses and designing illumination systems
• Hands‑on work in optical development laboratories
• Working as part of a multidisciplinary team on complex projects
Requirements:
• B.Sc. in Physics/Engineering with a specialization in Optics – must
• Strong understanding of geometrical and physical optics
• Ability to learn independently, high attention to detail, and strong task‑ownership
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and high‑level English
• Experience in optical design and development of optical systems – an advantage
• Experience with Python or MATLAB – an advantage
