Senior Backend Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, plan, and execute the roadmap for the team, focusing on introducing new ways to improve application performance
• Work on the design of complex features across the platform
• Collaborate with product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Work with team members on technological and architectural topics to drive engineering excellence

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• 6+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer (Java)
• 2+ years of practical hands-on experience in developing and researching algorithms
• Experience working with Relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
• Experience designing and architecting large, scalable cloud-based applications
• Experience working with Microservice architecture and event-based systems
• Strong mathematical background
• Outstanding drive and communication skills
• Organizational and time-management skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP)
• BSc. in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience with Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes technologies
• Experience with Spring Framework
