System Technology Lead – Autonomous Drone Systems

Build Real Systems. Own Real Decisions.

We are building advanced autonomous drone docking systems operating in real environments, combining embedded control, power electronics, mechanics, software, and field deployment.

We are looking for a hungry, sharp, multidisciplinary engineer (3-5 years experience) who wants more than just “another engineering job”.

This role is for someone who wants to:

• Own systems
• Make architectural decisions
• Sit in technical reviews
• Present to customers
• Build prototypes with their own hands

 What This Role Really Means

You will not be "one of the engineers".

You will:

• Take raw customer requirements and turn them into structured system specifications
• Define architecture across SW, Embedded, Power & Mechanical domains
• Write Tech Specs, System Specs, Operational Docs
• Lead and present SSR / PDR / CDR reviews
• Own system-level technical decisions
• Debug real HR & SW in lab and in the field
• Work directly with suppliers and manufacturing partners
• Move systems from prototype → validation → production
• Track progress and ensure execution actually happens

 Must Have

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Software Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline
• 3-5 years experience in multidisciplinary system/product development
• Strong understanding of:
• Embedded control boards & PCB systems
• Electrical power systems 
• Electronics fundamentals
• Mechanical integration
• Control logic & system behavior
• Ability to convert messy requirements into structured technical documentation
• Experience writing:
• System Specifications
• Tech Specs
• Operational Documentation
• Review documentation (PDR/CDR/SSR)
• Experience in integration & prototype bring-up
• Strong root-cause debugging skills (HW + SW + System)
• Ability to read electrical schematics & mechanical drawings

 Strong Advantage

• Experience in drone systems / robotics / motion systems
• Autonomous systems / real-time control background
• STM32 / Raspberry Pi / Jetson experience
• Embedded programming (C/C++ / Python / C#)
• Communication protocols (UDP, TCP/IP, MQTT, CAN, Serial)
• Power electronics (DC-DC, AC-DC, protection, VFD)
• Experience in defense or industrial-grade systems
• Experience presenting to customers or executives
• Startup / fast-scaling environment experience
