Research And Development Manager

A leading Global Intelligence & Digital Forensics company that develops advanced analytics and investigative platforms for government and law enforcement sectors. A major industry player with a massive global footprint, the company is now establishing a specialized AI Innovation Lab to pioneer the next generation of investigative tools.

The AI Innovation Lab serves as the company’s strategic engine for breakthrough technologies, focusing on the next generation of AI-driven investigative tools.

Located in the Central District (ideally situated near the train station), the company operates a hybrid model with two days of remote work per week.

Role Overview-

• Leading and managing the AI Innovation Lab, overseeing a multidisciplinary team of 10 professionals, including Software Engineers, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists.
• Architecting and driving the development of new products based on LLMs, Generative AI, and advanced RAG pipelines.
• Responsible for the productization of AI Agents and complex AI-driven workflows from research to full production.
• Shaping the technical strategy, choosing technology stacks, and designing end-to-end solutions in Hybrid environments (Cloud/GCP & On-Prem).
• Maintaining high-level strategic focus while remaining Hands-on (approx. 20%) to drive technical excellence.
• Collaborating with AI researchers and senior stakeholders to translate advanced innovation into scalable global impact.

Requirements-

• 5 years of senior R&D management experience (Group Manager level or equivalent, beyond Team Lead) – Mandatory.
• Proven experience managing teams of 8-15 employees (Developers and Data experts) – Mandatory.
• Expert-level proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and Python – Mandatory.
• Deep hands-on experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) – Mandatory.
• Significant experience in a Corporate / Large-scale Global Company environment – Mandatory.
• Strong background in AI/ML Productization, specifically with LLMs, RAG, and AI Agents.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field – Mandatory.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between research-level AI and robust production systems.
