Role Description

Head of Research Department - OSINT | Compliance | Business Intelligence.

We are a fast-growing, high-quality company operating at the intersection of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), Compliance, and Business Intelligence, and we are looking for an experienced Head of Research to lead our research department and client-facing activities.

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Head of Research Department, located in Ramat Hasharon with opportunities for remote work. The role involves overseeing and leading the research team, developing and implementing research strategies, managing large-scale due diligence projects, and ensuring the delivery of precise and actionable intelligence reports. Responsibilities include conducting high-level research, managing market analysis efforts, mentoring team members, and collaborating with clients and stakeholders to address their intelligence needs.

This is a senior, high-impact role with direct reporting to company management, significant influence on strategy and delivery, and exposure to international and high-profile clients.

In this role you will:

* Lead and manage a team of researchers and analysts (OSINT/BI/Compliance)

* Own the full research operation and delivery: prioritization, quality control, and professional standards

* Oversee complex research outputs, including OSINT investigations, business intelligence, screening, and due diligence

* Act as a senior client-facing lead: manage strategic clients, lead meetings, present findings and recommendations

* Support sales and business development processes, including demos and expert input

* Work closely with senior management on planning, decision-making, and cross-company initiatives

Qualifications

* Proven experience leading research, intelligence, or analytical operations

(Head/Lead/Ops/Research/Intelligence roles)

* Strong fit for former intelligence professionals, particularly from research, analysis, and collection roles, and/or candidates with equivalent civilian experience in OSINT, BI, or research leadership

* Deep experience working with open sources, data analysis, and research tools

* Significant advantage for background in Compliance: regulation, risk management, Due Diligence/Screening/Third Parties

* Excellent written communication skills - ability to produce clear, professional client reports

* Strong presentation skills and confidence leading client demos and executive discussions

* Mature, independent, hands-on profile with end-to-end ownership mindset

* High-level English proficiency (written and spoken)
