Controller for the Finance Department

About the Role

The role includes analyzing and preparing financial statements and tax reports for the association and its subsidiaries.

Responsibilities

• Consolidated financial statements
• Preparing various reports
• Financial data preparation
• Monthly closings and reports
• Providing guidance, control, and support in the financial field across multiple interfaces within the organization
• Ongoing oversight of the bookkeeping for the association and subsidiaries
• Working directly with external auditors
• Accompanying external audits
• Performing routine internal controls
• Working in accordance with IFRS requirements
• Responsibility for and management of all ISOX processes within the association

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Controller in a public company – Required
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Experience in preparing reports according to IFRS and consolidating financial statements
• Knowledge and experience with SOX/ISOX
• Familiarity and experience with Priority software – Advantage
• Full proficiency in Excel
• High level of responsibility, organizational skills, and the ability to work and learn independently
• Analytical skills, data investigation, and the ability to draw conclusions; strong orientation toward information systems
• High service orientation, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to meet deadlines and targets
• Discretion, reliability, independence, and initiative
• Good level of English
