Financial controller

Overview

What will your responsibilities include, and how will your day-to-day look? You will oversee the controllership of the media company, ensuring monthly and annual closures and ongoing reporting to the publicly listed parent company abroad (in accordance with IFRS standards). You will develop budgets and track actual performance against them, build and implement work processes, and perform analytical analyses of company operations, including customer profitability. Additionally, you will provide support to employees, managers, and clients, and oversee billing processes for clients and payments to suppliers

Responsibilities

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from one of the BIG4 firms - required.
• Full proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel - required.
• High level English - required
• One year of experience in a similar role - required
• Experience in handling and reporting to tax authorities - an advantage.
• Familiarity with IFRS standards and experience in auditing - a significant advantage.
• High analytical capabilities and critical thinking.
• Initiative, independence, and the ability to drive processes.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work in a team
