SEO/AIO Team Lead

Description

We are seeking a visionary and data-driven SEO/AIO Team Lead to spearhead our organic growth strategy in the age of AI. In this role, you will bridge the gap between traditional Search Engine Optimization and the emerging field of AI Optimization. You will lead a team of specialists to ensure our brand remains dominant not only in classic search results (SERPs) but also within AI-driven answer engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google’s AI Overviews.

About The Role

• Strategic Growth Roadmap: Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO/AIO strategy that focuses on long-term organic dominance, aligning search performance with bottom-line business KPIs.
• Content Strategy: Architect a content ecosystem that prioritizes User Intent as the primary driver for growth. Lead the team in delivering authoritative, high-value responses that secure market leadership across both traditional search and AI-driven discovery platforms.
• Team Management & Mentorship: Recruit and lead a high-performing team of specialists, fostering a culture that balances technical precision with creative content execution.
• Technical Authority: Ensure our digital infrastructure is architected for maximum accessibility. Lead the strategy for site health and data structuring to guarantee our brand remains a primary, recognizable source for both traditional crawlers and modern discovery engines.
• Content Integrity & Quality Control: Establish rigorous editorial standards to ensure all output—whether AI-assisted or human-written—maintains high E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) and remains authoritative in a crowded market.
• Performance & Business Intelligence: Drive data-led decision-making by monitoring organic visibility, user intent shifts, and conversion funnels using GA4, Search Console, and proprietary BI tools.
• Cross-Functional Synergy: Serve as a strategic partner to Product, R&D, PMM and Creative teams, embedding organic growth principles into the core of the development lifecycle. Foster a collaborative environment where search-driven insights empower every department to maximize the brand's digital reach and impact.
  
  

• Experience: 5+ years in SEO, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team management role in a global company
• AIO Proficiency: Deep AI Literacy regarding how LLMs and AI-driven search engines process and cite web data.
• Analytical Skills: Expert-level knowledge of SEO tools (Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Botify) and web analytics.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HTML/CSS, JavaScript SEO, Core Web Vitals, and server-side optimization.
• Adaptability: A proven track record of successfully navigating major Google algorithm updates and shifts in the search landscape.
