Vice President Operations

📍 Beit Shemesh / Dimona, Israel

We are seeking an experienced VP of Operations to lead the operational activities of a cutting-edge company specializing in the development and manufacturing of smart batteries, chargers, BMS systems, and advanced energy solutions.

• Full operational leadership of two advanced manufacturing sites, including complex production lines.
• Planning, control, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes while ensuring productivity, quality, and business objectives.
• Responsibility for equipment and machinery maintenance, ensuring high operational availability and preventive control.
• End-to-end management of the quality organization – Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and non-conformance management.
• Implementation and enforcement of international standards and regulations (AS9100, AS9001, ISO) and strict defense-related compliance.
• Preparation and leadership of internal and external audits with customers and regulatory authorities.
• End-to-end supply chain management – procurement of raw materials and components, supplier management, logistics, and customer deliveries.
• Leading negotiations with strategic suppliers, including SLA agreements and operational accountability.
• Ownership and optimization of ERP systems, integrating procurement, inventory, MRP, logistics, shipment tracking, and coordination with R&D procurement.
• Leading projects focused on inventory optimization, cost reduction, and material availability improvement.
• Managing import/export operations, including work with customs authorities and defense-related approvals.
• Bridging R&D and Manufacturing, leading NPI (New Product Introduction) processes.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, robotics, industrial engineering, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Leading re-tooling and modernization of existing production lines and implementation of advanced monitoring and control infrastructures.

• Proven experience in industrial operations/manufacturing management in similar-scale environments and industries (electronics, batteries, defense, medical devices, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience managing 100+ employees.
• Deep understanding of quality systems, regulatory compliance, and ISO standards.
• Proven experience managing complex supply chains.
• BSc in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering).
• MSc or relevant advanced degree – an advantage.
• Strong leadership, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work with diverse interfaces.
• Strategic mindset with a strong orientation toward continuous improvement and operational excellence.
