Time to Study is an online school offering structured English, Math, and Hebrew programs for students aged 5–18. Role Description

We are seeking a certified Hebrew Language teacher with a strong pedagogical background and a deep understanding of language acquisition. This role focuses on Hebrew literacy skills, including phonological awareness, reading fluency, reading comprehension, and language knowledge (grammar and structure) — not Hebrew as a second language.

The role includes:

• Conducting small group online Hebrew lessons via Zoom for Grades 1–6
• Teaching reading, phonological awareness, reading comprehension, and Hebrew language skills
• Creating engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that promote understanding and language awareness
• Connecting language learning to meaningful contexts to strengthen comprehension
• Tracking student progress, providing clear feedback to parents, and adapting instruction to students’ needs
• Motivating students through outstanding interpersonal skills and a supportive learning environment

Qualifications

• Certified teacher with a degree in Education or a relevant Hebrew / language-teaching certification – required
• Experience teaching Hebrew literacy at the elementary school level
• Strong understanding of reading acquisition and language development processes
• Creative, structured, and student-centered teaching approach
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
