Job Description

The DataOps role focuses on the setup, operation, and ongoing maintenance of the organization’s data infrastructure, supporting BI, analytics, API, and AI solutions.

The role is responsible for the availability, stability, and reliability of data platforms and infrastructures, including the Microsoft Azure cloud environment and the tools and platforms on which data processes developed by internal and external teams are executed.

The emphasis of the role is on infrastructure, operations, and enablement — not on developing business logic or implementing ETL, streaming, or API processes directly.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in DataOps, data infrastructure, or Data Engineering roles.
• Proven experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Operational experience with one or more of the following tools:
• Azure Data Factory / Fabric Pipelines
• Azure Data Lake Storage
• Azure Synapse Analytics or Fabric Warehouse
• Experience providing infrastructure-level support for ETL/ELT processes.
• Familiarity with data streaming and event-driven infrastructures (e.g., Azure Event Hub or equivalent solutions).
• Infrastructure-level experience working with REST APIs.
• Familiarity with GraphQL principles from an operational, availability, and security perspective.
• High proficiency in SQL.
• Experience working with monitoring, logging, and incident management systems.
• Software development background with an understanding of development processes, including:
• Ability to read, understand, and analyze code for troubleshooting, support, and operational purposes.
• Ability to work effectively in a large-scale enterprise environment with multiple procedures and interfaces.

Advantages

• Experience providing infrastructure support for BI tools, particularly Power BI.
• Experience working with API Management solutions (Azure APIM or similar).
• Familiarity with Data Governance, Data Catalogs, access control, and data security.
• Experience working in a public-sector or highly regulated environment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD principles in an infrastructure and operations context.
• Knowledge of Python, .NET, or C#.
• Experience developing or maintaining infrastructure services, scripts, or operational tools.
