Senior AI / Backend Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior AI / Backend Engineer to design and build the core systems

behind our AI-driven product. This is not a traditional machine learning role. The focus is on

LLM-based agents, orchestration, and strong backend architecture, with an emphasis on

production-grade engineering.

You will work on building reliable, scalable systems that combine LLMs, tools, workflows, and

data, while following strong software engineering and CI/CD practices.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement LLM-based agent systems, including reasoning workflows, tool
• use, and orchestration
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs using modern engineering practices
• Own backend architecture decisions with a focus on scalability, reliability, and
• maintainability
• Integrate LLMs with internal services, external systems, and data sources
• Work comfortably within CI/CD pipelines to ensure code is tested, validated, and safely
• deployed
• Collaborate closely with platform and product engineers to deliver features end-to-end
• Contribute to best practices around testing, observability, and deployment of AI systems

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of experience as a backend or systems engineer
• Strong fundamentals in software architecture, system design, and engineering best
• practices
• Hands-on experience building LLM-based applications or agents in production
• Comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines and automated development workflows
• Strong experience with APIs, databases, and distributed systems
• Ability to own features from design through deployment

Nice to Have

• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph
• Some frontend experience (e.g. React, Next.js) — helpful but not a core requirement
• Experience in early-stage or fast-moving product teams
