Senior Manager, System Engineer

Description

We are looking for an Senior Manager, System Engineering to drive the system vision, architecture and design requirements of multi-disciplinary state of the art 3D imaging medical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a group of system engineers to achieve high quality system development.
• Actively drive the technical decision‑making throughout the development, working hands‑on while collaborating closely with cross‑functional peers within and outside R&D
• Lead design of multi-disciplinary systems, focused on Optics, Electronics, Mechanics, Algorithms and Physics, architecture and system requirements.
• Analyze design alternatives from all aspects, such as design complexity timelines and risks, technical and clinical performance, manufacturability, cost, etc.
• Develop people through effective performance management and ongoing feedback, focusing on delegation for stretch assignments, growing and developing the team for capacity and growth, looking at performance across the team, and time management.
  
  

• BSc Electrical Engineering / Optics & physic degree, Master degree or PHD – advantage
• Experience in developing and implementing strategies that support the overall goals of the system
• 10 years of experience in development of complex/multi-disciplinary products (SW, HW, Optical etc)
• 10 years of experience in system engineering.
• 4 years of experience in people and team management
• Experience in Imaging / Electro-Optical systems– advantage
• Capable of developing high level system requirements based on marketing technology and customer inputs.
• Experience in Medical devices – advantage.
