This is not a conventional product management position centered on customer feedback cycles or gradual feature rollouts. This is an executive-level technical product ownership role, where you will command the architecture, technical strategy, and AI integration across our complete learning system. What You Will Be Doing

• Cultivating and demonstrating comprehensive education product expertise to inform strategic decisions
• Crafting technical specifications that resolve critical technical decisions while prioritizing simplicity, efficiency, and sustainable long-term architecture
• Deploying generative AI technologies to automate and optimize engineering workflows, consistent with the strategic objective of minimizing manual effort

• Serve as the CTO for one or more education products, commanding core technical competencies and generating business value through flawless execution and strategic judgment
  
  

Basic Requirements

• Deep experience or interest in data-driven learning science
• 7+ years of experience making the important architecture and design decisions on software projects, such as the application of architecture design patterns or significant open source technologies
• 2+ years of experience making design decisions involving the use of cloud computing services (primarily AWS)
• 4+ years of experience in positions with full technical and delivery ownership on a revenue-generating product
• Experience building product features that make advanced use of Generative AI
• Experience using Generative AI to simplify work processes

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
