Global Electrical & Energy Procurement Manager

A global project-based organization is seeking a Procurement Manager to own the electrical and energy procurement domain across international projects. The role covers the full procurement lifecycle for electrical and energy-related equipment, including geothermal, energy storage (BESS), and solar environments, with direct management of one procurement professional.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the global electrical & energy procurement domain.
• Lead end-to-end procurement for high-value, large-volume capital equipment.
• Run RFQs, evaluate proposals, and lead complex commercial negotiations.
• Identify and qualify global suppliers.
• Manage contracts, purchase orders, and supplier performance.
• Work closely with engineering, projects, legal, and supply chain teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or similar.
• 8+ years of experience in global procurement within large organizations.
• Proven experience with high-volume, high-value purchasing.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
• Electrical / energy / infrastructure procurement experience – an advantage, not a must.
• High learning ability and adaptability to technical domains.
• Fluent English; strong Excel skills.
• SAP experience – advantage.
