Software Team Lead

Nokod Security brings Application Security to no-code applications, automations and AI agents. The Nokod platform allows organizations to govern their no-code assets (e.g., Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, UiPath, ServiceNow) and manage their cyber security and compliance risk by streamlining security into citizen development.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the core backend team, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership.
• Manage Kubernetes deployments and containerization strategies.
• Report directly to the VP of Engineering.
• Work as part of a collaborative team, continuously improving your skills while sharing knowledge with others.
• Operate in a flexible, agile environment, adapting to changes and challenges.
• Own the design, implementation, and maintenance of integrations with third-party APIs and external services, ensuring reliability, robust error handling, and proper versioning.
• Oversee the development and optimization of data pipelines, ensuring efficient data flow, transformation, and availability across systems.
  
  

• 8+ years of professional experience as a software engineer in Node.js and TypeScript (experience with NestJS is an advantage).
• 3+ years of experience leading and managing engineering teams.
• Experience with microservices architecture, SQL databases, cloud platforms (specifically GCP), and modern frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Experience with Kafka or similar message broker systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and orchestration systems.
• Proven experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes at scale.
• High standards for code quality, testability, maintainability, security, and performance.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced startup environment.
