Challenge Airlines (IL), based near TLV, operates daily scheduled cargo flights and international charter services, transporting both general and non-standard cargo.

Job purpose
As a Captain for a cargo airline company, the pilot works to make every flight journey with care and efficiency. She/he checks the flight, ensures flight plans are made and submit reports regularly. The pilot is responsible for the safety of the aircraft and people onboard.
Primary responsibilities
The Captain reports to the Chief Pilot and supports the Flight Operations Department for the following duties :
- Conduct all pre-flight checks to ensure safety;
- Communicate with air traffic control through the flight;
- Check all the cockpit instruments to ensure proper functioning;
- Observe the weather conditions, aircraft position, and air traffic regularly during the flight and request for a change of flight plan if needed;
- File reports of the flight trip and status of aircraft before and after landing.
Your profile
- Recent Experience on B747 required.
- 5000 hours total
- 1500 hours as PIC
- 500 hours on B747 type
- Hold a valid EASA ATPL license with a valid B747 rating
- Hold a valid EASA Part Med Class 1;
- Have a minimum level ICAO English language proficiency level 5
