Post-Doctoral position in Care, Work and Welfare Research

School of Social Work, Ariel University

We conduct qualitative research on care and welfare professions, and the intersections between work, volunteering, and social policy, in times of social change and crisis.

This position is designed for a scholar seeking a focused and productive research period within an active and collegial research environment. The fellow will take part in empirical qualitative research projects, collaborative writing, and the development of new research directions and grant applications.

Requirements

PhD in Social Work, Sociology, Gender Studies, or related fields

Excellent English and native-level Hebrew

Proven experience in qualitative research

Full-time availability

Fellowship details

One-year fellowship with strong possibility of extension to a second year

Stipend according to Ariel University guidelines
