Data Engineer Team Lead

Role Overview-

• Leading a high-impact engineering team of 9 developers, responsible for the company's core, mission-critical systems.
• Managing and scaling large-scale data infrastructures that handle massive real-time throughput.
• Balancing leadership and technical strategy with approximately 20% Hands-on involvement.
• Leading architectural decisions and designing robust data pipelines to support complex AI and ML models.
• Driving engineering excellence and mentoring senior developers within a distributed, high-volume environment.

Requirements-

• 4 years of experience in R&D Management / Team Leadership – Mandatory.
• 6 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer – Mandatory.
• 4 years of deep hands-on experience in Java – Mandatory.
• Proven background in System Architecture and designing high-scale distributed systems.
• Significant advantage: Experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, Vertica, or complex data pipelines.
• Experience working in high-volume, low-latency production environments.
• Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to drive complex technical projects to successful delivery.
