The company develops advanced financial services for both end-users and international financial institutions, including a real-time global money transfer platform and a comprehensive B2B Cross-Border payment solution.
With a strong economic foundation and tens of thousands of active monthly users, the company is both stable and rapidly scaling.
Located in Tel Aviv, operating a hybrid model with one day of remote work per week.
Role Overview
- Leading a specialized Backend team of 5 developers, reporting directly to the Group Manager.
- Maintaining approximately 20% Hands-On involvement, focusing on high-level architecture and technical mentorship.
- Taking full ownership of the company’s B2C product line, addressing complex challenges related to Scale, real-time transactions, and financial security.
- Driving the development of high-performance APIs and integration layers that power global financial operations.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Backend development (with at least the last 4 years focused on Backend).
- 2+ years of experience in a Team Lead or engineering management role – Mandatory.
- Deep proficiency in JVM-based languages (Java, Scala, or Kotlin).
- Proven experience with Cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Extensive background working in Product-based companies and Startup environments – Mandatory.
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related technological field – Mandatory.
- Experience in building and maintaining High-Scale production environments.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and scaling engineering teams.
