AI Engineer – Foundational and VLMs

We’re looking for  a Mid–Senior AI Engineer to join our AI team to work on LLMs for robotic reasoning and interaction. The role combines applied research and deployment, working directly on systems that run on a real robots with fully onboard compute.

You’ll collaborate closely with the AI team and embedded software team to build intelligent robotic capabilities end to end, from model development to on-robot execution.

What You’ll Do

    • Design and deploy LLM/VLM-based systems for robot planning, reasoning, and action

    • Build agent and multi-agent systems for robotic decision-making

    • Work on human–robot interaction using language and multimodal inputs

    • Fine-tune and deploy LLMs/VLMs  for real-world robotic use cases

    • Integrate LLMs/VLMs with perception, control, and ROS-based systems

    • Support fully onboard or hybrid deployment scenarios

What We’re Looking For

    • Strong background in Python, data science, and deep learning

    • Experience working with LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain or similar)

    • Experience with LLM fine-tuning and deployment

    • Familiarity with multimodal LLMs

    • Strong systems thinking and ability to work across software boundaries

Nice to Have

    • Experience with RL or robotics systems

    • Experience building agents that interact with real-world systems

    • Familiarity with ROS or robotic middleware
