Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Operational Microbiologist, based in Haifa District, Israel. The Microbiologist will manage microbiology testing projects, oversee laboratory operations, perform advanced microbiological analyses, and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards. Additional responsibilities include interpreting test results, maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment, and leading quality assurance and control processes to ensure accurate and reliable results. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentorship of junior staff will also be expected.

Qualifications

• Strong Laboratory Operational Skills and proficiency in working with Laboratory Equipment
• Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in Microbiology, specifically in the Pharma field
• Experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability in laboratory settings
• Proven ability to work in compliance with ISO 17025, GMP, and other regulatory standards
• Ability to lead and mentor team members effectively
• Master's degree or higher in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field
• Previous experience in microbiology-related roles; experience in food or pharmaceutical industries is a must
