C++ Software Engineer

An innovative startup offering an infrastructure acceleration solution and performance improvement, with a focus on the AI revolution and the challenges of Big Data processing in the cloud.

The company was founded by two experienced entrepreneurs and recently raised a multi-million dollar Round A led by top-tier VCs.

Located in Tel Aviv, near the train station/light rail.

The Role:

• Reporting to the VP of Software, the role involves C++ Multithreaded development with data structures, algorithms, and data pipelines, including networking, storage, and multithreading.
• The system is a high-performance solution, supporting AWS.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from a leading university.
• Strong programming proficiency in C++ or Java.
• 5 years of experience in software development, focusing on high-performance computing.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Python or Scala for data processing and system development.
• Experience in runtime system development and low-level performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with big data processing frameworks, such as Apache Spark.
• Solid understanding of columnar storage formats (e.g., Parquet) and their impact on query performance.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services, including AWS EMR, S3, and EC2.
