Role responsibilities:

• In-depth investigation of security alerts and complex cyber incidents
• Incident Response management and handling Tier 1 escalations
• Proactive Threat Hunting using MITRE ATT&CK methodologies
• Analysis of malicious activity, including malware, phishing, and unauthorized access
• Network traffic analysis and basic endpoint forensics
• Writing and fine-tuning monitoring rules in SIEM / XDR systems to reduce false positives
• Close collaboration with infrastructure and development teams to reduce attack surfaces
• Mentoring and professional guidance for Tier 1 SOC analysts

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of experience as a SOC Analyst (or relevant background in systems / networking)
• Proven experience in investigating and responding to cybersecurity incidents
• Experience working in multi-cloud environments (AWS / Azure)
• Experience with security systems such as FW, IPS, WAF, SIEM, XDR/EDR
• Strong understanding of networking protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S
• Ability to perform basic static and dynamic analysis of suspicious files
• Ability to write technical reports in Hebrew and English
