A fast-growing Medical AI startup that has developed a cutting-edge AI Research Assistant for the global medical research community. The company’s platform is used by leading pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, and biotech startups to accelerate scientific discovery.

Following a significant Series A funding round, the company is scaling its impact while maintaining a high-caliber R&D environment.

Located in the Tel Aviv (adjacent to the train station), operating a hybrid model with one day of remote work per week.

Role Overview-

• Joining as a Founding Data Scientist (Individual Contributor), serving as the organization's Domain Expert in AI and Data Science.
• Working closely with Engineering, Medical, and Product teams to develop and deploy LLM-based tools and Multi-Agent systems.
• Designing and implementing complex Data Pipelines, statistical models, and NLP solutions for medical research data.
• Taking full ownership of the end-to-end lifecycle: from research and evaluation to production-grade deployment.
• Influencing the company’s technical roadmap and setting the standards for AI development within the organization.

Requirements-

• 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a proven track record in product-oriented companies.
• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field – Mandatory.
• Significant experience with LLMs and NLP (experience in model training is an advantage, but not required).
• Proven experience in deploying AI/ML solutions into Production environments.
• Hands-on expertise in building and optimizing Data Pipelines and working with large-scale datasets.
• Strong background in Statistics and experimental design.
• Experience in a leadership or "Sole Function" role – a significant advantage.
• Passion for the intersection of AI and Healthcare/Medical Research.
