DevOps Team Lead | Excellent Company! 5362

We are looking for a DevOps Team Lead to drive the adoption of DevOps and DevSecOps culture across the organization.

This is a high-impact leadership role, acting as a force multiplier for development and infrastructure teams, and leading the organization into an era of automation, efficiency, and cloud adoption.

As the DevOps Team Lead, you will be the architect of change, working closely with development and infrastructure teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines, automation, monitoring, and configuration management, while embedding security as an integral part of the pipeline.

With a long-term vision, you will build and grow a strong DevOps team of 3–4 experts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build the DevOps function from scratch, including strategy, processes, technology selection, automated security testing, and best practices
• Plan and lead the migration to a public cloud environment (AWS or Azure)
• Collaborate closely with development and infrastructure teams to improve Time to Market
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, automation for build, release, and deployment processes, including automated security scans
• Lead, mentor, and train the emerging DevOps team
• Recruit, build, and scale the future DevOps team

Requirements:

Must-Have:

• 3+ years of proven experience in a DevOps role
• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and best practices
• Experience working with Docker
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi
• Scripting experience with Bash or PowerShell

Big Advantage:

• Experience with Kubernetes (K8s)
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Go
• Hands-on experience implementing DevSecOps practices, including vulnerability scanning
